(PublicWire.com Press Release) — RENO, NV, Jan 29, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) — PPJ Enterprise (OTC Pink: PPJE) (http://www.ppjenterprise.com/) a proprietary automated health care software company, announced today that it has added a new line of business, operating a diagnostic medical laboratory with a local physician. PPJ will own 49% of the venture and has arranged funding commitments. “We expect that this new laboratory will experience a high demand as these tests are currently performed at only a few locations in California,” said Ms. Basu, PPJ’s President.
The laboratory will perform Blood Culture Identification (BCID) Panel tests for a comprehensive list of 24 pathogens and 3 antibiotic resistance genes associated with bloodstream infections. One test identifies pathogens in 9 out of 10 positive blood cultures in about an hour with only two minutes of hands-on time.
