The newly designed Mac Pro, a product targeted towards professionals, will not undergo its final assembly in their Austin, Texas factory owned by Quanta Computers and Flex.
The move of Apple to move production comes a day before the scheduled meeting of President Donald Trump and China’s Xi Jinping to resolve the intensifying trade war between the two economic powerhouses.
As both Jinping and Trump met at the end of the G20, they decided to suspend the trade war. Trump also lifted the US ban on Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Huawei, in-turn shares in chipmakers rose between 3-8%.
