Kender Energy Inc. (PINKSHEETS: KNDR) today announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Malta Licensing & Distribution Network S.A. (MLDN), a Maltese based international distributor with exposure into over 12 countries world-wide.

The earlier discussions with Malta Licensing & Distribution Network have resulted in an increase from the original 500 units per year to 1000 units per year minimum sales, in the definitive Letter of Intent (LOI).

If this step is successful, the company will have one more hearing for the rezone of the property currently anticipated before year’s end. Rezone approval will then allow pre-COLA (Nuclear Regulatory Commission application) preparations to begin in the first quarter of 2010.

Green Star (GSAE.PK) Agrees to Terms on 120MW Wind Farm Development

A corporate structure is being created for this endeavour in a new Serbian subsidiary company, whose ownership will be maintained by both Green Star and Wellbury. The terms of the agreement include a joint 50-50 title, with complete recoupment of all expenditures by Green Star before any division of profits.

This advanced stage project is to be sited in North East Serbia – specifically in the Municipality of Pancevo, District of Banat, within the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. Over 28 months of wind resource data has been accumulated over three micro locations and the results indicate a significant energy potential of 120 MW.
